Knight Fight is a progressive western martial art (WMA) derived from historical European combat philosophy.
Specially designed padded equipment is used allowing a full-speed and full-contact sparring system with (almost) unrestricted target zones.
The curriculum is a methodology (study of method) with students learning the science of hand-to-hand combat and the skill of critically analysing opponents to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
Mass combat scenarios are a common aspect of Knight Fight training, often with unbalanced teams.
Training commences with simulated medieval styled sword and shield and progresses as students attain higher ranks to sword alone, sword with free hand techniques, advanced free hand techniques and unarmed techniques.
